Raised in Charlotte, NC, Mr. Brown
graduated from West Charlotte High in 1997 where he
participated in Track & Field all four years. Mr.
Brown received a full academic scholarship to Clark
Atlanta University where he ran track and majored in
Electrical Engineering. Mr. Brown graduated 2002
Magna Cum Laude and received a Bachelor Of Science
Degree. Mr. Brown then went on to work as a
supervisor at the Boys and Girls Clubs of America
from 2002 to 2004 where he then he decided to become
a high school teacher. Mr. Brown became a math
teacher at Nova High School in 2004 and is currently
the Track & Field coach, JV Girls Basketball Head
Coach and the Varsity Girls Basketball Assistant
Coach. Since his tenure coaching at Nova High School
over 10 of the athletes he has coached have gone to
college on full athletic scholarships to major
colleges. |
