South Florida Lady Jaguars Sponsorship Letter…

Dear Prospective Sponsor:
The South Florida Lady Jaguars was created with a vision for
girls who desired to learn and play the game of basketball on a
competitive level. The goals are to provide an atmosphere with
excellent coaching, high levels of competition for local Middle
and High School female athletes looking to improve their skills,
while emphasizing the importance of education, ultimately
providing an opportunity for those girls who desire to compete
on a college level. Our basketball program currently consists of
five teams, composed of players in the surrounding South Florida
areas. These players range from 10-18 years of age and are
committed to prepare themselves at a highly competitive level in
girl’s basketball. In addition to the dedicated training, our
basketball program has an environment that continues to promote
individual confidence, self esteem and leadership skills.
The Lady Jaguars look forward to this 2008 season, which will
consist of approximately 10 tournaments, as well as, offer our
elite players who desire to play college basketball an
opportunity to travel out-of-state and compete in top-rate
tournaments where college scouts are searching for prospective
players.
As we continue to provide an environment of learning proper
skills to become effective basketball players, we do have
expenses of tournament fees, uniforms, hotels and
transportation. The average expense per player is approximately
$1,500.00. Without parents, fundraisers, community and business
support, some players would be excluded from participating. The
Lady Jaguars Basketball Team has asked each player and parent to
seek prospective sponsors so that each girl with the desire to
compete will have the opportunity. The South Florida Lady
Jaguars, Inc. is a non-profit organization and all sponsorship
money will be used solely for the expenses for the girls’ teams.
With your donation, your organizations will get a tax deduction
and advertisement on our website and publications.
