Coach Billy Carson:

Billy Carson is in his fourth year with the South Florida Lady Jaguars. He grew up in Miami, FL and was a three year starter for his basketball team in high school and upon graduating in 1989 he joined an NBA Hoop It Up team in Miami and won the Top Gun Championship two years in a row. In 1996 Billy Carson started his own business in internet marketing and sales and grew the business into a multi-million dollar corporation which he then sold to a publicly traded company. He has since branched out and now owns several lucrative businesses and is spending most of his time as a volunteer coach for Tequesta Trace Middle School where in 2007, he coached his team to its first ever division championship since its inception. Mr. Carson also volunteers Nova High School and is the assistant girls’ basketball coach. Mr. Carson has helped coach the Nova Lady Titans to a District Championship in this 2008 season. Mr. Carson is also a volunteer coach for the South Florida Lady Jaguars, which is a U.S. Junior Olympic Team and he has won numerous Gold Medals. Mr. Carson has over 10 years coaching experience in AAU, USSSA, and NCAA sanctioned basketball. Mr. Carson is a founding member of the YMCA in Weston and is also currently a board member for the YMCA of Broward County and the head of the Board Of Directors for the South Florida Lady Jaguars.
